Why Salt + Seaweed? Well, for the better part of a year and a half I’ve been developing this project in my brain, bouncing ideas off supportive listeners. And during an afternoon with a friend in Seattle (hi Sarah!) and unexpected inspiration from some snacks at local treasure Uwajimaya I’d settled on the name. Salt + Seaweed will follow and feature the things I love about growing up and living in the Pacific Northwest and the Washington Coast, plus my passion for travel and new adventures, creative yet simple (mostly vegan) food and recipes, lazy (efficient?) crafting, and (yes, you’re reading it right) cocktails in hotel lobbies.
